Embodied Practice
Finding your embodiment. Embodying your alignment.
As swimming and sport have allowed me to ground myself underwater and advance with purpose, I explore today different ways, through embodied experiences, to process, reflect and be creative with my work. Yoga and mindful movement have become, for me, a way to think and move differently, making space for creative writing.
My 100-hour yoga training in Bali with Mathieu and Maeva Boldron introduced me to the Change Perspective Method ™ . The training brought together yoga philosophy, breath, meditation, movement and creativity — and a different way of understanding alignment through the body.
Through themed movement practices, I curate retreats that offer opportunities to explore different facets of ourselves and our personalities, reconnecting with the body while creating space for awareness and reflection. The practice also extends beyond the mat, using other embodied and sensory experiences to unlock creativity and explore different ways of expressing and experiencing ourselves. These experiences invite us to explore our relationship with the communities and environments that surround us, and, in turn, to reflect on the impact we wish to leave behind.
As I complete my 200-hour training, I am developing this approach through creative workshops, retreats and classes for people who want to create space for meaningful work, whether writing, developing a social business, working on a script or simply finding clarity for what comes next.
